Mayfair Project Update — April 2024

2023 was a year full of progress toward laying the infrastructure on which Mayfair is being built. 2024 is also shaping up to be a big year — with new homes from top-quality builders under construction, Mayfair’s first annual festival fast-approaching, and construction on Midtown Mayfair set to begin later in the year.

Come to Mayfest, and Get a Sneak-Peek at Homes Being Built

Attendees of the first annual Mayfest can get an early look at up to eight homes in different stages of construction. Mayfest will also feature live music, food trucks, local vendors, activities for kids, and a beer and wine garden.

Midtown Construction to Begin By End of Year

Construction on Midtown Mayfair, an eight-acre town square, is set to begin later in 2024. Midtown will include park space, dining and retail space, offices, and event space that includes an open-air, mixed-use marketplace.

There is also potential for some playful amenities meant to bring joy to Mayfair’s residents, like a vintage carousel and a roller rink. Some parts of Midtown Mayfair may open as early as next year.

Work on Mayfair’s first park is underway, and it’s expected to open this year as well. It will have walking trails, a bicycle pump track, a children’s playscape, 18-hole disc golf course and space for events such as concerts, festivals, and farmer’s markets. Eventually, Mayfair will feature over 330 acres of parks and 35 miles of multi-function trailways connecting residential areas, schools, and retail.
