Southstar Named Five-Time Finalist for Texas Association of Builders’ 2024 Star Awards
Southstar is honored to have been named a finalist in five categories of the Texas Association of Builders’ 2024 Star Awards. A first in Southstar’s 24-year history, the TAB award recognition shines a spotlight on the company’s excellence in community planning and development.
The Texas Association of Builders (TAB) is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders with 26 local homebuilders associations across Texas, and it plays a crucial role in providing housing for Texans.
Southstar and VIDA San Antonio were named as a finalist in five categories:
- Best Overall Community, VIDA San Antonio
- Best Community Amenity, Madla Greenway
- Best Digital Marketing Campaign, VIDA San Antonio
- Best Print Ad, VIDA San Antonio
- Best Website, VIDA San Antonio
TAB will announce the winners on Saturday, July 12 at an awards ceremony during the Sunbelt Builders Show at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
Building Award-Winning Communities
Southstar also secured a spot on the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2024 ‘Best Places to Work’ list. The ‘Best Places to Work’ and TAB awards come on the heels of Southstar being named Best Developer by the Greater San Antonio Builders Association in 2023. VIDA has also been voted Best New Community for two consecutive years by readers of MySA.com and the San Antonio Express-News.
